Regular/Senior System Engineer for automotive Ecommerce project
Our client is a product software development company, which is providing solutions for the automotive sector. They have grown globally to more than 1,000 employees with a double-digit revenue increase nearly every year. The company is looking for a Regular/Senior System Engineer to join its team. Who are we looking for – Regular/Senior System Engineer
Location: 100% remote from Poland.
We are looking for a developer who likes to dig deeper into the older programming languages. We are supporting a quite old system written in a language similar to Pascal or Delphi.
If you want to get your hands dirty and solve the never-ending mysteries of the 90’s architecture design and work with a language that is on the “to be extinct” list – this is your chance! It’s quite fun, honestly. You need to have a very flexible approach, be able to figure out solutions on the fly and never leave a challenge unanswered.
Seriously: you will work on a web solution that keeps working for the past 25 years and help us create a new one to support one of our core products.
Regular/Senior System Engineer – Main scope of work:
• Maintenance and small development of a legacy application;
• Solving technical issues;
• Reconfiguring;
• Some further development.
Regular/Senior System Engineer – Show off your skills:
- Understanding of Web solutions;
- Scripting / programming in Pascal / Delphi;
- Experience with HTML and JavaScript;
- Experience with databases like DBase, SQL;
- C# exposure would be great;
- Understanding large database systems;
- English language: at least upper intermediate (B2), both written and spoken.

Recruitment process (approximately 1-2 weeks long)
After an online interview on phone with Close Europe recruiters to discuss this position and talk about your experience (30 minutes):
- Technical video interview with Hiring Manager (1- 1,5 hours).
- Possible (but not always obligatory) interview with German team members (1 hour).
